Meyer's Olde Dutch, a new burger joint in Beacon, hasn't opened its doors to visitors yet.

But, customers can still grab a bite during the restaurant's soft opening. The restaurant is accepting orders at its back door and visitors can eat at its back patio, according to a press release.

The dining room for the restaurant opening at the former Poppy's Burgers and Fries location is still under construction.

Customers can order anything off the restaurant's menu, including beef, lamb, chicken and mushroom burgers as well as hot dogs, fries and salads. Fans of craft beer can also $4 drafts from various local breweries.

Brian Arnoff, owner of Meyer's Olde Dutch and Kitchen Sink Food & Drink in Beacon, said he hasn't solidified a date for the grand opening, adding that it would likely take "a couple weeks still."

The finished restaurant will feature a full-service bar as well as counter and kiosk ordering.

Customers can visit the restaurant at 184 Main St. or visit meyersoldedutch.com for the menu and other updates.
