Solar workshop planned in Poughkeepsie

A solar energy workshop will be held next month at the Vassar College Farm and Ecological Preserve.

The event will include information about energy efficiency for homes, the basics of going solar and financing options.

The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Vassar Barn, 50 Vassar Farm Lane, in Poughkeepsie.

It is being sponsored by Solarize Dutchess County in collaboration with The Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns and Poughkeepsie Farm Project.
