Celebrate Small Business Saturday

Help celebrate the fifth Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to helping the nation's small businesses. American Express started the effort Nov. 27, 2010 and it has since been held the Saturday after Black Friday. If you're shopping at a mid-Hudson Valley small business on that day, you can join the effort.

Using Instagram, take a picture of yourself there shopping, speaking with the owner or an employee or with what you purchased and tag it with #pjsmallbiz. It'll show in our gallery below. You can also post to Twitter using #ShopSmall and tag @gannett for a chance to be featured.
