Colleges hold graduation ceremonies today; check back for updates

Commencement ceremonies are today, Saturday, for Marist College, Bard College and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Ceremonies at Marist and West Point began at 10 a.m. Bard's ceremony is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.

Judy Woodruff, co-anchor and managing editor of PBS NewsHour, and Al Hunt, Bloomburg View columnist and longtime Wall Street Journal reporter and executive Washington editor, delivered a joint address at Marist's ceremonies while Gen. Martin Dempsey, 18th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and a 1974 West Point graduate, spoke at his alma matter.

Bard's address will be given by Sherrilyn Ifill, president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc.
