Poughkeepsie Journal Patio Sessions: David Kraai and Amy Laber

The latest edition of the Poughkeepsie Journal Patio Sessions features David Kraai and Amy Laber of Gardiner, performing "Old Oak and Chicory."

According to Kraai, the song is, "about moving on and remembering all of the little details and things that now make the memories seem warm and nice, as opposed to maybe the way things actually went down."

He continued, "Items, places, especially smells, these things can bring you right back in time, but usually with that sweetness of remembrance. Life is change, hopefully moving forward, and we have to embrace that, but it feels satisfying to remember the good old days, even if times were bad."
